Name: Axl Rose
Mental Disorder: Bipolar Disorder Type 1
Information:
Loud and outspoken, he is prone to throwing the first punch in any fight. Abused by his father and ignored by his mother, Axl went through psychiatrists and hospitals like clothes, forever changing them and trying to find an answer to the "demons" his very religious father said possessed him.
He was kicked out of home, which only fuelled the rage and hate that live deep in him. His parents know nothing of his sexuality, something that would not only have seen him ostracised from home but also killed. He's now seeking the help that he knows he needs but wonders if anything will ever work. He fears that this may be the end of the road and that is he doesn't leave here alive, then he won't leave at all.
As well as having violent and unpredictable mood swings, Axl has also been told by more than one psychiatrist that he's a sexual predator. This stems from his arrests for apparently raping several young men. Axl was convicted of one such offence where he murdered his rape victim in the heat of passion. The jury suggested the death sentence but the judge, a friend of his father's, sent him to Rainy Days as a lab rat for new drugs that may iron out the psychosis and other disorders. So far, none of these drugs have been produced and none have been tested on Axl.
After recent events, doctors have come to the conclusion that Axl Rose has many more underlying issues than first thought. One is a sadistic personality disorder, a personality disorder which makes the person act in hurtful ways towards another in a bastardised version of love. This may have been prevalent for many years but came to a head with Axl's kidnapping, torture and subsequent imprisonment of Izzy.
On December 14th, Axl granted Izzy Stradlin the divorce he'd wanted.
They were married less than 6 months.
